Join Cadaniño at the CAFO 2025 Summit as we work to
Strengthen Families through Gospel-Centered Solutions
This year at CAFO2025, Cadaniño is honored to host two unique sessions designed to equip churches, ministries, and leaders with practical, faith-driven tools for strengthening families and preventing child-family separation.
Session 1: Gospel-Centered After-School Programs as a Family Preservation Strategy
-
When: Thursday, October 2, 2025 | 9:45–10:45 AM
-
Where: Houston’s First Baptist Church | Room 263
-
Format: Coaching Table
Afterschool programs can be one of the Church’s most powerful tools for preventing family separation. Drawing from Cadaniño’s three-pillar model: Spiritual Formation, Academic Reinforcement, and Family Strengthening, Timothy and Sharie Martiny will share practical strategies for launching or strengthening faith-based afterschool programs that transform vulnerable children’s lives.
You’ll discover how equipping local leaders, integrating discipleship with academics, and supporting families creates sustainable impact that keeps children in safe, loving homes.
Session 2: Global Family Services Meet-Up
-
When: Thursday, October 2, 2025 | 2:45–3:30 PM
-
Where: Houston’s First Baptist Church | Room 503
-
Format: Meet-Up
Many in the CAFO community serve “upstream” or “downstream” from immediate child protection—through after-school programs, healthcare, discipleship, job training, and more. This meet-up, hosted by Timothy Martiny (Cadaniño) and Claudia León (Buckner International), brings together leaders from across the globe to share insights, learn from one another, and explore how our diverse efforts can work in greater coordination to strengthen families and prevent unnecessary institutionalization.
